Position Summary: This temporary role supports the HR team by auditing and organizing employee records to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency. Ideal for detail-oriented individuals, it offers hands-on experience in HR operations and document management. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR operations, compliance, and document auditing.
 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review employee documentation to confirm accuracy, completeness, and consistency with internal standards.
• Document audit findings and track issue resolution using structured reporting tools and templates.
• Identify any gaps or inconsistencies in records and escalate them to the appropriate team for resolution.
• Work collaboratively with HR, compliance, and system support teams to access and validate documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure secure handling of sensitive employee information.
• Contribute to efforts that enhance the structure and accessibility of employee records storage.
 
Minimum Requirements:
Required education, experience, and eligibility qualifications:
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and comfort working across teams and departments.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, or other tools used to manage documentation and reporting.
• A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and follow established processes.
 
Preferred education, experience, and eligibility qualifications: education, experience, certifications, based on requirements that are job-related and consistent with business necessity.
• Previous exposure to HR, compliance, or administrative roles (including internships or academic projects).
• Familiarity with HR systems such as SAP, OpenText, or similar document management/HRIS platforms.
• Experience working with compliance-related documents such as Form I-9s or similar.

• Demonstrates a proactive interest in HR practices, compliance standards, and relevant employment regulations.
• Maintains strict confidentiality and consistently exercises sound judgment and integrity.
• Comfortable learning and supporting new systems or processes based on user needs and documentation workflows.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies and follow through on resolution.
• Capable of analyzing data, identifying trends, and drawing logical conclusions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, for documentation and reporting.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
• Clear and professional communicator, both written and verbal.
• Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter who takes initiative and adapts quickly to changing priorities.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
