Shutterfly is looking for an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist II to join our team! 

What You'll Do Here: 

  • Align and integrate the EHS strategy with the supporting organization’s mission, goals, and strategies.
  • Audit/inspect site for compliance to regulatory and internal policies and recommend corrective actions and improvements.
  • Conduct impact analyses and implement programs to ensure compliance with both regulatory and internal standards.
  • Act as the business SME for the EHS IS system as well manage the EHS metrics collection/analysis process.
  • Work with site personnel to obtain business objectives including auditing, reporting and regulatory compliance initiatives.
  • Develop and conduct training course material to meet the needs of the learner or business.
    Conduct incident investigations and identify root causes and recommend corrective actions

The Skills You'll Bring: 

  • Working experience in implementing EHS regulations, conducting incident investigations, interacting with regulatory agencies and external organizations and managing cross functional teams.
  • Flexibility in work schedule based upon business demands.
  • Ability to establish measurable project goals and implementation plans, balance conflicting work demands, and develop action plans including the identification of resource requirements.
  • Ability to develop standards and/or policies that meet business objectives.
  • Ability to actively listen, build and maintain effective working relationships. 
  • Become a subject matter expert for the site’s waste streams.
