We are looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist who will negotiate contracts, analyze commercial terms, and optimize pricing across several categories of technology spend (software, SaaS, cloud, technical professional services). In this individual contributor role, the candidate will develop category strategies with vendors and leverage market intelligence to develop new supply sources. A successful candidate will have experience in best-practice procurement methods and business processes, as they work to build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, influence and align roadmaps, and cultivate vendor partnerships.  

What You’ll Do Here:   
  • Manage contracts and license agreements to ensure that obligations are met and the process for tracking renewals or replacement of existing agreements is managed and scalable
  • Prepare RFQs and bid documents, analyze and evaluate proposals, and administer the evaluation process
  • Actively manage designated suppliers and contribute to initiatives aimed at bettering financial and operational performance
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions
  • Provide thought leadership from a procurement/sourcing perspective and work with business partners to develop new and creative strategies
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve process issues impacting internal stakeholders
  • Work with legal and finance on approval of agreements per signature authorization policy
The Skills You’ll Bring:   
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business or a technical field
  • Minimum of 5+ years in a professional procurement function with 3 years in a technology category
  • Strong negotiation skills and demonstrated ability to work with suppliers
  • Understanding of technical solutions available in the marketplace
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication
  • Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders and influence senior leadership
  • Strong financial and analytical skills

The compensation package for this role is based on multiple factors, such as job level, responsibilities, location, and candidate experience. The base pay ranges included below are specific to the locations listed, and may not be applicable to other locations.

California : [$99,000-140,250]

Connecticut, New York, and Rhode Island: [$99,000-128,250]

Colorado and Washington: [$99,000-118,750]

Nevada: [$93,000-128,250]

Maryland: [$107,000-128,250]

This opportunity can be remote, but candidates must reside in a state in which Shutterfly is registered to do business. This includes all US states except District of Columbia, North Dakota, Mississippi, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Wyoming.
