Summary:
The Marketing Automation Specialist II will support both email and SMS channels to deliver a great customer experience for different Lifetouch segments and brands. This individual is responsible for planning and executing campaigns across these channels and will work cross functionally to ensure timely and accurate delivery of these communications. Using data and insights, they will continue to optimize these channels to ensure organizational objectives are achieved. Using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, they will also determine technical solutions to optimize all email/sms campaigns. This individual will also troubleshoot automations to ensure campaigns are successful. They should also be able to work within tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Execute B2C or B2B email/sms marketing programs end to end
Independently create segmentations using SQL queries or data filters
Independently create personalized emails using AMPscript or other script languages
Plan and optimize successful email/sms campaigns and journeys that drive revenue
Support email marketing efforts and processes, proactively researching and implementing the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards
Ensure campaigns are appropriately QA tested end to end, before going live.
Troubleshoot any automation errors and come up with solutions
Solution new ideas to increase email and sms channels’ engagement and revenue
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
3+ years building and scheduling emails
Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or any other marketing automation platform
Ability to build segments using SQL is required
A Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification is highly desired
Experience with Liveclicker or Movable Ink is a plus
Knowledge of AMPScript is strongly preferred
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Strong organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
