Spoonflower is looking for a Marketing Manager Wallpaper who will be responsible for crafting and executing marketing strategies and tactics to drive revenue and new customer growth in our Wallpaper business. Partnering directly with the Merchandising team, the Marketing Manager Wallpaper will translate business objectives into marketing campaigns that resonate with our target audience and achieve our strategic and financial objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of growing a product category in a CPG or DTC Retail environment, pairing a demonstrated growth mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-performance team with a bias for action. The Marketing Manager Wallpaper reports to the Senior Director of Brand Marketing.
What You’ll Do Here:
- Translate business priorities set by the Merchandising team into marketing strategies and tactics that achieve revenue and new customer goals for our Wallpaper business
- Build annual, quarterly, and monthly marketing plans that outline key marketing initiatives, expected revenue and new customer impact, budget required and ROI of marketing investment, and share marketing plans with GM Spoonflower, Senior Director of Brand Marketing, and Merchandising team for review and approval
- Brief all cross-functional partners in the marketing plan for the upcoming quarter and ensure understanding of strategic rationale, expected results, timelines, and deliverables
- Lead ideation and concepting sessions to develop campaign specifics
- Manage the timely execution of marketing plans across all marketing channels (CRM, SEM, Paid Social, Organic Social, Affiliates, Website) and internal marketing teams (Creative, Production, Collaborations), including creation of creative briefs, dissemination of assets to channel leads, and measurement of results and KPIs
- Provide GM Spoonflower, Senior Director of Brand Marketing, and Merchandising team with weekly performance updates vs. plan and recommend any tactical changes needed
- Conduct monthly and quarterly marketing performance reviews with GM Spoonflower, Senior Director of Brand Marketing, and Merchandising team to assess results vs plan, identify what worked and what did not, and share suggested changes to upcoming marketing plans based on learnings
- Conduct regular competitive analyses to identify strengths and weaknesses of Spoonflower’s brand and product positioning in the Wallpaper category vs. competitors and translate insights into action plans for value proposition messaging, storytelling, external collaborations, and creative and copy development
- Act as the internal marketing expert for Wallpaper by developing a deep understanding of category dynamics, market conditions, consumer insights, and competitor activities
Support the launch of new products by developing and managing the execution of a cross-channel Go-To-Market strategy that delivers against revenue and new customer goals
The Skills You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in CPG Marketing, DTC Retail Marketing, or Brand Management
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field - Proven track record of growing a line of business (product category or brand)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies and tactics across multiple channels, integrating all marketing disciplines
- Strong analytical skills and experience gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources
- Strong financial acumen, understanding of profit/revenue drivers and ROI analysis
- Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts effectively

The compensation package for this role is based on multiple factors, such as job level, responsibilities, location, and candidate experience. The base pay ranges included below are specific to the locations listed, and may not be applicable to other locations.
California: [$76,500-108,500]
Connecticut, New York, and Rhode Island: [$76,500-99,250]
Colorado and Washington: [$76,500-92,000]
Nevada: [$72,000-99,250]
